Free tool
Fill in what customers usually ask you about, such as your services, hours, prices and policies, and the generator writes it out as a list of questions with your answers. Use the text on your website, in a chatbot, or as the business information an AI chatbot answers from. It runs in your browser: nothing you type is sent to us or saved.
Write each answer as a complete sentence, the way you would say it on the phone. The generator does not rewrite what you type. It adds the questions, puts the answers in a sensible order, and adds a period where one is missing.
Using the same text in all three places means your website and your chatbot never give a customer two different answers.
People read an FAQ page and fill gaps from context. A chatbot cannot, so the answers need to be more exact than a website usually is.
Our guide to chatbot knowledge and measurement covers how to choose what a chatbot should know, and how to tell from its conversations when an answer is missing.
Start the 14-day trial, pick a template, and paste your answers into its messages. Plans start at $29 a month after the trial.
Alma chatbots answer in two ways. Flows, on every plan, show the answers you write for each button or question. AI answering is an optional add-on for $25 a month, with up to 500 AI answers a month, that replies to typed questions your flows do not cover. It answers only from the business information you provide, as text, up to 50,000 characters (about 8,000 words). It does not read your website or uploaded files.
There is no settings page where you paste that text yourself. The Alma team sets up AI answering and loads your text into the bot, so send them the text from this generator when you order it. On the Agency and Enterprise plans, the text can also go in a bot's JSON file and be loaded with Update from JSON. The character count under the output box shows how much of the 50,000-character limit your text uses.
For how an AI chatbot uses text like this, and why a page of written answers usually works better than a pile of documents, read how a knowledge base chatbot works.
FAQ generator
It turns the details you type about your business, such as your services, hours, prices and policies, into a list of common questions with your answers under each one. It does not use AI and does not invent anything: every answer is the text you typed.
No. The generator runs in your browser. It sends nothing to Alma or anyone else and saves nothing, so the text is gone when you close the page unless you copy or download it.
Long enough to answer what customers actually ask, and no longer. Start with the ten questions you hear most often, found in your recent emails and messages, and add others only when customers ask them.
Yes. AI answering is a $25 a month add-on that answers typed questions from text you provide, up to 50,000 characters. The Alma team sets it up and loads your text into the bot, so send them the text when you order it.
Yes. The text is yours. Paste it into an FAQ page, or use the answers as the replies in a chatbot flow, so your website and your chatbot say the same thing.
